Empowered Education
With a commitment to the growth and prosperity of teens in foster care, Madi’s Movement provides the necessary tools and guidance for them to thrive in their chosen career paths. The Empower Education program focuses on uncovering their passions, skill sets, and interests, allowing us to tailor a personalized educational journey for each individual. Whether someone aspire to pursue a 4-year college degree, enlist in the military, attend technical school, or obtain certifications, we recognize there is no one-size-fits-all answer. We work closely with each teen to chart a course aligning with their career aspirations, ensuring they have the foundation to flourish.
Career Connections
Designed to address a significant need among teens in foster care, Career Connections aims to expand their awareness of diverse industries and career pathways. By teaming up with leaders across various sectors, including industry experts, entrepreneurs, and professionals from different fields, we provide foster teens with valuable opportunities to engage in conversations, ask questions, and gain insights. In this immersive program, not only do we support and empower our teens, but we also help bridge the employment gaps for companies, making it a mutually beneficial endeavor. By connecting foster teens with career opportunities and facilitating meaningful interactions, Career Connections fosters personal and professional growth for everyone involved.
Financial Foundations
We understand the significance of essential financial skills for everyone, including teens in foster care. That’s why we’ve created the Financial Foundations program, designed to equip foster teens with practical know-how in budgeting, goal planning, credit education, and financial success plan. Through engaging in hands-on experiences and ongoing support, we strengthen these teens to make informed financial decisions and break free from dependency. By partnering with financial institutions and professionals, we provide valuable guidance, ensuring teens have the knowledge and tools necessary for a financially stable future.
