Tommie and Jeff, two resilient young men who aged out of foster care, have recently started full-time careers with Quality Custom Distribution (QCD), a valued partner of Madi’s Movement. QCD offered not only meaningful employment with excellent benefits but also a supportive team that genuinely believes in uplifting youth from foster care. With opportunities for advancement and mentorship from leaders who care about their journey, Tommy and Jeff are now building stable, purpose-driven futures.
Their success extended beyond the workplace. With help from our generous partners, the young men signed the lease on their very first apartment—complete with top-tier amenities. Ashley Furniture donated beautiful furnishings to make the space feel like home, while Feeding the Fosters provided a fully stocked fridge and pantry to ease their transition. Our friends at Support the Troops also stepped in, donating essential household appliances and items to ensure they had everything they needed. To top it off, the apartment complex’s leasing manager had a deep compassion for youth from foster care, offering a warm welcome and an added layer of support as they began this exciting new chapter.
