MEET MADI

“I am Madi of Tampa, Florida. I am ridiculously passionate about becoming someone famous and important to help people because I can serve society more positively. I don’t have it all together, but I have a plan and I will change the WORLD!” - Madison Ebie, age 15

Madison Elizabeth, a compassionate and driven young woman, has set her sights on changing the world. With a deep empathy for foster children, particularly teens who often lack a voice and face overwhelming challenges, Madi is on a mission to break down barriers and empower foster teens to achieve independence and reach their full potential. Her ultimate goal is to give them a voice in a world that often overlooks their struggles.

Madi’s spirit is a vibrant reflection of her desire to uplift those around her. She exudes a unique blend of sweetness, sassiness, and playfulness that instantly puts others at ease, regardless of the circumstances. Madi is the embodiment of beauty, intelligence, and a heart of gold.

Tragically, Madi’s life was cut short on March 4th, 2021. The date, “March Fourth,” holds special significance and serves as a poignant reminder of Madi’s message to her family. It inspires us to march forth in her honor and to help foster teens embark on their own transformative journeys toward independence, much like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. Madi’s spirit lives on, and she continues to fulfill her dream of serving society in a positive way while changing the world.

Guided by Madi’s unwavering presence and the signs she shows her family, particularly through monarch butterflies, her mother Effie and the entire family are dedicated to honoring Madi and her mission. Their commitment extends to the thousands of foster teens whose lives they are determined to positively impact, helping them live their best lives.

Together, we carry Madi’s torch, igniting hope and empowerment in the hearts of foster teens as we strive to create a world where every young person has a chance to thrive and soar.

Madi's Vision

“I think I found my adult job to be in social services or child services to help children have a say. I think it would give me great relief to do something positive to change children’s worlds.” – Madi
