Crafting Traditions & Creating Memories
About the Gathering: This is a warm, community-focused holiday celebration where teens will experience the joy of the season. They will receive personalized wrapped gifts under the tree, created from their own wish lists, making them feel special and loved. Teens will get to create and fill their own stockings, make gingerbread houses, decorate cookies, make ornaments, and enjoy hot chocolate while listening to holiday music. A big holiday meal will be shared together, creating a sense of community and cheer. We aim to double the number of attendees from last year, hoping to welcome at least 100+ teens and young adults, making this year’s celebration even more meaningful.
How Donations Help: Your contribution will directly support purchasing personalized, wrapped gifts for each teen to make them feel special. Donations also cover food, decorations, and all the activities that make the celebration magical. Your generosity helps create a memorable holiday experience where everyone feels like they belong.

Join us for an inspiring event designed to empower teens and young adults aged 15-25 in care and at risk, providing them with valuable career opportunities and resources. The Pathways to Employment Expo is our mission in action, celebrating what would have been Madi’s 23rd birthday.
What to Expect:
- Career Exploration and Interactive Sessions: Engage with over 30 industries and connect with Career Pathfinders from various fields. These professionals will share their stories, insights into different career paths, and guidance on entering their professions.
- Inspirational Speakers: Learn from successful business leaders, professionals, and foster care alumni sharing their journeys and tips for success.
- Hands-On Activities: Participate in resume workshops, mock interviews, get professional headshots to prepare for the workforce, and more!

Impact Achieved! 2024 Career Readiness Expo
A Phenomenal Celebration! Marking what would have been Madi’s 23rd birthday, this year’s expo was a profound celebration of her vision. Over 80 teens and young adults joined over 200 attendees to navigate through more than 30 career opportunities. The day was filled with actionable steps: creating resumes, practicing interviews, taking professional headshots, and selecting professional attire. It was a day of empowerment and remembrance.
