TRANSFORMING LIVES
EMPOWERING FUTURES
A PATH FORWARD FOR YOUNG ADULTS AGING OUT OF FOSTER CARE
About us
Madi’s Movement takes young adults from foster care to full independence — no longer relying on the system.
Through our core pillars of education, employment, and empowerment we provide the tools, resources, and experiences young adults need to live independently — with the confidence and stability to thrive beyond any system.
50% will become homeless within 18 months
50% will be unemployed by age 21
70% of girls will become pregnant before the age of 21
Less than 3% will earn a college degree
60% of trafficking victims have spent time in foster care
Less than 15% have their drivers license
This is the Reality. This is the Cycle.
Too many young adults aging out of foster care face overwhelming odds—homelessness, unemployment, early pregnancy, and limited access to education and basic life skills. These are not just statistics—they are the lived experiences of the young people we serve.
Madi's Movement Exists to break This Cycle.
Through mentorship, life skills training, career readiness, and community connection, we walk alongside young adults aging out of foster care—equipping them to rewrite their futures with hope, dignity, and purpose.
